The Kurdistan Academy of Science is an independent, non-profit organisation dedicated to putting science to the service of Kurdistan. We have many urgent activities waiting for your assistance and welcome donations of any size to carry out our work.
Our main task is the following;
• Identifying and establishing a network among Kurdish scientists and promoting cooperation with non-Kurdish scientists
• Promoting education,and public awareness
• Providing expertise in different area to aids Kurdistan to improve the infrastructure of the Kurdistan
• Providing opportunities to promote scientific research among researchers of Kurdistan
• Promoting research exchange and cooperation among industry, academia and government
• Advancing awareness about national and international relations
We invite academicians worldwide to join KAS in this crucial ear of Kurdish history to support our people with knowledge, skill and science to provide our citizens a better life condition and to improve our culture.
We need your support and advice to carry out several projects. You can assist our efforts to increase public awareness of science in Kurdistan.

If you make a donation to the KAS-Academy, you can choose to receive our journal and you can decide whether you want to be acknowledged publicly.
To make your donation, post or fax it to the Academy. You can also choose to make a gift to the Academy in your will, establish a special-purpose fund, or give property, artworks or other assets.
Gift
You can make a bequest for any purpose that supports the Academy's objectives. These include the recognition of scientific excellence, support for research, public awareness of science, science education and international relations in science.
Gift for specific purposes are most welcome. Many donors who decide to make a gift are also keen to establish and participate in their chosen project during their lifetime. In view of how science may change in the future, the Academy also appreciates gifts that are given more generally for the advancement of science in Kurdistan through different program.
A simple gift may be expressed:
I donate the sum of $... to the Kurdistan Academy of Science, to be applied to the advancement of science consistent with the Academy's objectives [or to be applied for the purpose of ...].
Advice
Depending on the size and type of donation or gift, donors should consider seeking advice from their accountant or financial adviser. Donations to the Kurdistan Academy of Science are tax deductible under and the Academy is exempt from paying income tax.
The Academy's staff will be pleased to answer questions, and Fellows with appropriate expertise can help define a useful purpose for any donation or gift.
